Uses of N-ZERO (DEF)

  1. 1 N-ZERO is an SCR urea aqueous solution independently developed by Changwoo Co., Ltd. It is produced by mixing the highest quality urea with ultra-pure water to create a top-tier diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) that is safe to use at any time.
  2. 2 It is an essential catalyst for vehicles equipped with SCR systems developed to reduce nitrogen oxides in diesel vehicle (trucks, buses) exhaust gas.
  3. 3 In Europe, quality standards are being implemented with progressively stricter permissible limits for nitrogen compound emissions from automobiles, and Korea is also applying the same standards as Europe to strengthen nitrogen compound emission regulations.
  4. 4 It is a reducing agent that dramatically reduces nitrogen oxides, which cause acid rain, while maintaining fuel efficiency and output at their best.

SCR Application Technology in Korea

  • A high-quality reducing agent must be used for SCR adoption because the catalyst system, a nitrogen oxide reduction device, is composed of long, fine holes. Using substandard reducing agents causes clogging of these fine holes, resulting in serious secondary problems.
  • Daewoo commercial vehicles, Daewoo buses, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Hyundai commercial vehicles, Volvo, Scania, and others have adopted and use SCR, and it is expected to become mandatory for all vehicle types in the future for air environment conservation.

How to Use

  1. 1 Tear along the circular opening line at the top of the box. (Do not fully tear open the box.)
  2. 2 Pull out the internal corrugated hose through the opening.
  3. 3 Pull the cap of the internal DEF container toward the top of the box.
  4. 4 Open the cap of the DEF container you pulled out.
  5. 5 Attach the corrugated hose to the outlet of the opened internal DEF container.
  6. 6 Hold the cardboard box and insert the corrugated hose inlet into the vehicle's DEF tank.

※ Never inject into the fuel tank.

Precautions for Storage and Handling

  1. 1 Store sealed, away from direct sunlight, in a well-ventilated place at room temperature. (Recommended storage temperature: -10℃ to 30℃)
  2. 2 Protect from rain and moisture exposure as much as possible. (Indoor storage recommended)
  3. 3 An ammonia odor may occur when opening depending on storage conditions; this does not affect use.
  4. 4 Never put DEF in the fuel tank. (Excessive moisture in the fuel will prevent the vehicle from operating.)
  5. 5 Although harmless to the human body, never ingest it; wash with water if it comes into contact with skin.
